Your local and federal tax dollars also contribute to the projects.The contractor selected by CPS Energy left 88 holes in the exterior of this eastside home built in 1925.

Morin says his mother-in-law qualified to have insulation added to the walls and attic under CPS Energy's Casa Verde program, which provides free upgrades to improve energy efficiency for low-income residents. “I called down to CPS and I actually complained to them, what they told me was, we're going to get in contact with the contractor, we're going to have them reach out to you for more clarification, the clarification I got was, ‘hey, she signed off on it.’"The contractor who did the work for CPS Energy did not respond to our phone call, but the city-owned utility sent us a statement:
