The suit claimed Treyson was not supervised when he fell off the monkey bars on the south playground at Discovery Elementary in Vernal and was unable to stand up or walk without help. Doctors at the hospital in Vernal performed tests and told the Johnsons that Treyson needed to be immediately flown to Primary Children's Hospital in Salt Lake for more testing.Aubri, still in Vernal, started the five-hour drive to Primary Children's.
Treyson got out of surgery, but the suit claimed that’s when doctors told the Johnsons he had a stroke.According to the lawsuit, Treyson now needs lifelong care.
