A family is upset after their teenage son’s murder was initially classified as a drug deal that turned violent.

17-year-old Mario Jordan II was shot and killed at The Abbey at Briar Forest Apartments off Briar Forest Drive on Friday night.The Houston Police Department has now said the murder did not involve a drug deal. The family was upset because they said they’re son is not involved in drug deals. What they learned was he was followed and robbed of his jewelry before he was shot and killed.

“I want everybody that had a part to play in my son’s demise.
