Musicians, TV personalities and politicians have donned their best outfits as they stepped out for the United Kingdom's first coronation in seven decades.

The UK-based musician donned a three piece suit as he stepped out for the event in London on Saturday morning.

Fellow singer Lionel Richie, who will have a starring role in the King's coronation concert, was also one of the first celebrities to go through the doors ahead of the 11am ceremony. Another well-loved figure, British actress Emma Thompson stunned in a floral red coat over a black dress and matching pumps as she arrived.
