A world record-breaking Scots family are set to take on a gruelling 2000-mile challenge over land and sea to raise money for charity
. Brothers Ewan, Jamie and Lachlan Maclean alongside their dad Charles Maclean MBE are planning to visit all 120 distilleries across Scotland to raise money for the Maclean Foundation.
The brothers had been out visiting the country, which is one of the poorest countries in Africa, to see clean water boreholes the foundation had funded when they became ill through contact with dirty water and were treated for parasitic worms. The trio will set off on Saturday, August 12, and will collect bottles from every distillery they visit which will later be sold. They say that every bottle will provide at least one person with clean water for life.
