Fans have gathered in London's Hyde Park to pay moving tribute to One Direction star Liam Payne following his death at the age of 31 after tragically falling from a balcony
Fans of the beloved One Direction star Liam Payne have been left heartbroken, with over 100 gathering in central London to honour his memory. The devoted crowd held a poignant silence on the afternoon of Sunday, 20 October at the iconic Peter Pan statue in Kensington Gardens, Hyde Park, surrounded by touching tributes including photos, heartfelt notes, balloons, and flowers.
"Well, my older brother and I had been planning a trip to Dublin for a while, and I knew I was gonna try and come to London at some point at the end of the trip, but when I woke up and heard the news, I was like, ‘okay, I’ll just go a day earlier try and figure out," she said. Lauren Anderson and Natasha Bradley, both 23, shared their experiences of coping with the loss together while speaking to PA in Hyde Park. "Lauren’s been the one that I’ve been speaking to the most about it", said Natasha, expressing her need to be around those who could relate to her feelings, as she felt parents couldn't fully grasp the depth of their impact on their children's lives.
He wrote: "The dates are being rescheduled for January and I’ll post them as soon as it’s all set in the next few days," adding that: "Your tickets will remain valid for the new dates. Love you all and thank you for your understanding."
