The Netflix comedy starring Oscar-nominee Kate Hudson returns for season 2 today and fans say it's 'by far one of the best shows' on the streamer
Netflix 's rival to Ted Lasso has made its comeback. A popular Netflix comedy has launched its second season today and it's superior to its debut.
Described as "funnier than Ted Lasso" by viewers and co-created by comedy heavyweights Elaine Ko and Mindy Kaling & Ike Barinholtz , the show proved a massive success for the platform when it debuted in February last year. Loosely based on Jeanie Buss, the owner and president of the LA Lakers, Running Point features two-time Oscar-nominated actress Kate Hudson as Isla Gordon, the first female president of the fictional NBA franchise the Los Angeles Waves.
When her elder brother Cam Gordon is compelled to enter rehab, Isla assumes control with assistance from her other brothers Sandy and Ness , alongside her best mate and Waves Chief of Staff Ali Lee , reports the Mirror.
