Latest updates from the Leeds United manager's press conference ahead of Saturday's Championship clash with Sheffield Wednesday at Elland Road
Daniel Farke’s Leeds United press conference takes place at Thorp Arch this afternoon and you can follow his Sheffield Wednesday preview below. The Whites claimed their first win of the new Championship season last weekend after seeing off Ipswich Town in a seven-goal thriller and they'll be keen to build on that on Saturday as they take on their Yorkshire rivals at Elland Road.
The United boss will be looking ahead to that game but it's deadline day, of course, and transfers will understandably dominate the agenda this afternoon. Leeds have secured Djed Spence, Ilia Gruev and Glen Kamara since Farke last spoke to the media and he'll be asked how they fit in, no doubt, but there's potentially more business to be done.
Farke will be asked about what Leeds fans can expect to happen before the 11pm deadline, with incomings and outgoings mooted. He'll also be asked about the injury situation with Junior Firpo, Liam Cooper, Patrick Bamford, Sam Byram, Ian Poveda, Stuart Dallas and Mateo Joseph all known to be carrying issues.
