The new attraction will be aimed at couples looking for a romantic break
Visitors to a Lancashire farm could soon spend the night in a converted helicopter. The ambitious aircraft plan is part of a bid to open a holiday accommodation at Abbey House in Forton, near the Forest of Bowland.
Plans for the development have been submitted to Wyre Borough Council and it is hoped the venue can be open by spring 2024.If all proceeds as planned, the new attraction will be aimed at young couples looking for a romantic break.
It adds: "The concept behind The Couples Sanctuary, is to give young couples who live in more urban areas the option of escaping to the countryside. To find an intimate tranquil setting without having to sacrifice the luxuriness that boutique hotels in the city can offer.
