One man was killed in the parking lot after Friday night’s event at the former Alabama cornerback’s high school.

Wise Jr. High School in Upper Marlboro, Md.A man died and a woman was injured in a shooting outside a Maryland school on Friday night after a candlelight vigil for Minnesota Vikings cornerback Khyree Jackson and two of his high school teammates.
On Friday night, a vigil was held for the three men at the high school. Capt. Sukhjit Batth, the acting commander for the Prince George’s County Police Department’s Major Crimes Unit, briefed the press at the scene of the shooting.. “We had officers outside in the parking lot during the time of the candlelight vigil.
“They turned around. They came back. When they got here, within 30 seconds, they were flagged down by citizens who were performing life-saving measures on an adult female victim. Officers located another adult male victim, and with the help of our citizens on the scene, started performing life-saving measures. Both adult victims got transported to area hospitals. Unfortunately, our adult male victim was pronounced dead at the hospital.
