The fear of China attacking Australia is why the government is spending “amazing amounts of money” in defence such as the AUKUS submarines deal, says Sky News host Andrew Bolt.

“It’s why the US is spending more on defence, it’s why Britain now is spending more, it’s why India just said it’s spending 13 per cent more, it’s why Japan’s Prime Minister has announced Japan’s biggest military build-up since World War II.

“Australia and all these other democracies are spending more than they like, more than they used to, because everyone sees the same huge threat, China – the dictatorship building up a massive military, threatening war over Taiwan.”

National Indigenous Australians Agency ‘already doing’ what Albanese wants Voice to doNational Indigenous Australians Agency ‘already doing’ what Albanese wants Voice to doSky News host Andrew Bolt says we already have a “massive” organisation – the National Indigenous Australians Agency – doing exactly what Prime Minister Anthony Albanese says is the main reason for the Voice. “Albanese keeps repeating ... that the reason we need a Voice is that it will mean Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people are consulted on the decisions which affect them. Nothing more, nothing less,” Mr Bolt said. “But here's the crazy thing, that is almost word-for-word the mission statement of the National Indigenous Australians Agency that we already give $2 billion a year to. “Now Albanese should know this, he should know he already has this huge bureaucracy doing exactly what he says is the main job for the Voice that he wants, consulting Aborigines about things that affect them.' Mr Bolt said we should stick with the National Indigenous Australians Agency and 'save ourselves the grief, the danger and the cash of creating a Voice as well'. “After all, this agency says it's already doing what Albanese says he wants for the Voice.'
