90s actress Alicia Silverstone, known for her iconic role in hit comedy Clueless, has sparked huge worry amongst her fans after she videos herself eating a 'dangerous' fruit
Fans are worried about actress Alicia Silverstone after she shared a TikTok of herself eating what’s believed to be a toxic plant - and she hasn't been on social media since.
In the video posted yesterday she told her followers: "I've just discovered something and I can't figure out what it is and I need your help. I've just bit into it because it was on the street and we were discussing whether it was a tomato or not."In the clip that now has over 940,000 views, Alicia went on to say that she doesn’t believe it to be a tomato because of the leaves.
These plants that are part of the nightshade family aren't uncommon in the UK and while they bare fruits on them, they're not made for ingesting. "The shrub is native to Central America where the plant is so vigorous that it’s sometimes viewed as a weed."
