BREAKING: Huge hunt for boy, 10, missing from home since last night after bike is found
A huge police search is underway after a 10-year-old boy went missing from his home.The schoolboy left his Styal Road home on his bike, which has been recovered in the Styal area.
Lewis has links to neighbouring Wythenshawe, in south Manchester, and Cheshire Police believe he could be heading that way. He is described as 4ft 6in, of slim build and has short, dark blonde hair with two stripes shaved onto the side.Neighbours are being asked to check their gardens, garages and sheds in case Lewis has been staying there overnight.Numerous police cars, search and rescue teams as well as the police helicopter were seen in the area.Chief Inspector Jez Taylor, who is co-ordinating the search for Lewis, said: ‘We are becoming increasingly concerned as Lewis has not been seen since yesterday evening.
‘If you have any information as to his whereabouts please contact the team here are Cheshire Police.’ Anyone with any information into Lewis’s whereabouts is asked to contact Cheshire Police on 101 quoting incident number IML-471266.
