The Australian Medical Association is calling on Prime Minister Anthony Albanese to increase hospital funding.
The federal government is being pushed to increase its share of hospital funding from 45 to 50 per cent and to remove the annual cap on activity.
Anthony Albanese says both Medicare and the hospital systems will be discussed at the National Cabinet on Friday.
