Arne Slot has revealed Federico Chiesa 's injury issues are related to him struggling with the step up in intensity levels after his summer switch from Juventus to Liverpool. Chiesa has made three appearances and one start - against West Ham United in the Carabao Cup - since his £12m move from Juve in late August and has been absent for the last three match-day squads with fitness concerns.
' The Reds boss also provided an update on Diogo Jota, who will miss Wednesday's game at the Red Bull Arena after he was withdrawn during the first half of Sunday's 2-1 win against Chelsea at Anfield following an early tangle with Tosin Adarabioyo. Slot added: 'Conor Bradley didn't make the trip, Harvey Elliott didn't make it, Federico Chiesa didn't and Alisson didn't make the trip either, so that means we have a few issues at the moment.
