The ATF has joined the investigation into the blaze in Texas. KBTX reports there were accelerants and racist graffiti found at the scene.

The federal Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives has joined the investigation into a fire that burned a College Station Krispy Kreme this week. ATF 's involvement comes after College Station fire crews and police responded to a Krispy Kreme on Harvey Road around 2 a.m. Monday for a report of an explosion and fire. The donut shop was 'fully engulfed' in flames, and debris was found throughout the parking lot and street.

Nobody was inside the store during the fire, and no one was injured, police said. ATF's National Center for Explosives Training and Research announced Tuesday that it was heading to College Station to assist with the investigation, which reports by KBTX say could be an arson and hate crime case. Unidentified sources told KBTX reporter Rusty Surette that accelerants were detected and racist graffiti was found on the scene.
