By 2022, things could be very different when it comes to women’s sexual health. This is because researchers have revealed that they are creating a pill, similar to Viagra, that aims to boost the sex drive of women, and it might be launched within the next two years.
Erectile dysfunction medication first came on the market in 1998, however finding the counterpart for female sexual dysfunction is only just coming into fruition over two decades later. According to one study, as many as 40% of woman actually suffer from the problem of FSD. 940 women in a study tested out the pill and wrote their findings as they went in an online diary. Apparently these entries will soon be available for others to read.
The doctor started looking for a solution to the problem of FSD after he had split up with his girlfriend. He has said that so far participants in the study founds it less difficult to climax and had a heightened interest in having sex. On the flip side though, some felt side effects including flushing on their face and neck, and headaches.
