Man United were defeated 2-0 against Tottenham on Saturday after delivering a disappointing performance in London.
Bruno Fernandes thinks Manchester United were wasteful in front of goal in the 2-0 defeat against Tottenham on Saturday evening and he admitted he should have scored his free header in the first half of the contest.
United were denied a clear penalty when Alejandro Garnacho's effort in the 27th minute struck Cristian Romero's extended arm, but Spurs also came close to taking the lead when striking the woodwork twice before the interval.The game was somehow goalless at half-time and it was Tottenham who broke the deadlock shortly after play resumed. Pape Sarr found the back of the net after a deflected cross and the advantage was extended in the 82nd minute.
Fernandes spoke to MUTV after the game and he rued wasting his own big chance, which was the team's best of the game.
