An anonymous Instagram account appearing to share voice notes allegedly featuring the voice of former TOWIE star Ferne McCann disappeared from the app on Sunday afternoon
The anonymous Instagram account sharing voice notes allegedly sent by Ferne McCann has mysteriously disappeared – just hours after it was confirmed that the TOWIE star contacted police about the ordeal.
Ferne has found herself at the centre of controversy after voice notes which allegedly appear to see her slamming fellow TOWIE star and former BFF Sam leaked online. The star, who "hasn't stopped crying all week", has allegedly called in the police, who are "tracking the parties responsible". "Having taken statements, the police are currently in the process of tracking the fake account’s whereabouts. The Online Safety Bill was discussed as they clamp down on cyber crime."In a statement released to OK! on Sunday morning, Essex Police said: "We are investigating a report of malicious communication which was made to us in Brentwood on Thursday 29 September.
Ferne was thought to still be very close to Sam's sister, Billie, but their relationship now may be tested after a third voice note dragged her into the row.
