Ferrari will reportedly move away from their unique sidepod design and towards something more resembling Red Bull’s in Spain.

Race days have been a particular area of concern for the Scuderia so far this season, with tyre management difficulties carrying over from last season, while this season’s SF-23’s “peaky” nature is not helping with the confidence of Charles Leclerc and Carlos Sainz to push it to its limits. “You’ve seen it hasn’t been an easy start to the season and we’ve been struggling, but it is true that with this first step into this direction we try and correct the deficiencies we have.

“But as soon as we go a little bit out of those conditions, the car loses so much downforce overall. So, we have been working a lot on that with this new car.
