Ferrari have managed to fast-track upgrades which were originally scheduled for the Spanish GP, but will now be available two rounds earlier. F1 Ferrari

Ferrari principal Fred Vasseur says the team has managed to “speed up” their development process, meaning upgrades for the SF-23 will arrive ahead of schedule.

Instead it has been a case of early domination for their 2022 rivals Red Bull, with Ferrari instead now left with ground to make up on Mercedes and Aston Martin ahead before they can contemplate a Red Bull challenge. Vasseur confirmed that already in Australia Ferrari began to “make changes” to their SF-23, with the impending start of F1 2023’s Europe-dominated stage usually the point where teams start to churn out the upgrades.
