P&O Ferries have cancelled the majority of their crossings between Cairnryan and Larne on Sunday due to the approach of Storm Eowyn.
The Met Office has issued a yellow warning as winds of 70 miles per hour are expected to hit Dumfries and Galloway this weekend, with travel chaos expected as people make their way home for the holidays.
The 8am, 11am, 2pm and 5pm sailings have all been cancelled. It is hoped sailings will resume from 8pm on Sunday evening but that is weather dependent.And Stena Line Services between Cairnryan and Belfast have been delayed by as much as two-and-a-half hours due to the weather.
