Many of the festival-goers said the Wine on the Fox event is a time to be with family and friends and taste their favorite wine or sample new ones.
Wine server Don Castillo pours wine Saturday for Acquaviva Winery at the Wine on the Fox festival in Oswego. The Wine on the Fox festival drew crowds to Oswego over the weekend looking to sample the best wines from around the state.
Many of the festival-goers said the event is a time to be with family and friends and taste their favorite wine or sample new ones. “When I am not doing real estate, I travel to do doing wine tastings for private and corporate events,” said Wall, who hails from Joliet. The festival has a beautiful setting along the Fox River and many of the wine tasters are repeat customers, according to White.
“We’ve noticed a trend in the last few years that people are leaning toward dry wines, which is exciting. We find our passion in producing dry white wines. Of course there are the fun, fruity wines that are popular,” White said.
