Taking place at Manchester's AO Arena, the event is one of the largest non-denominational gatherings of its kind in the UK
The Holy Ghost Service — Festival of Life will once again be returning to the UK, as thousands of people are expected to come together to celebrate the legacy of Jesus Christ.
This year, the event is being organised by the Redeemed Christian Church of God and will be hosted by pastor Enoch Adejare Adeboye, who has been a part of the group since 1976. Enoch earned a Bachelor's degree in Mathematics from the University of Ife in 1967, before going on to do his Master's degree in Hydronamics in 1969, and earning a Ph.D. in Applied Mathematics in 1975 from the University of Lagos.
After his death at the age of 71, pastor Adeboye was publicly appointed as his successor. Then, from 1981 onwards, the church began quickly growing in leaps and bounds, with approximately 2,000 parishes being set up in Nigeria.
