Rising temperatures are expected today and the weekend, but a big weather shift is still on track for next week. Here's the latest.
A cold front brought rain showers to San Antonio Thursday afternoon, as well as cooler temperatures in the 70s and low 80s for several hours. Even though rainfall only totaled 0.07 inch, the front brought some welcome relief from the intense summer heat. Hopefully, you were able to get out and enjoy it because temperatures will rebound today, and stay quite toasty through the weekend. Thankfully, it won’t be long-term.
The heat is expected to stick around on Sunday with highs in the mid-90s, but we’ll start to see some weather changes to our north as a cold front starts to push through. A few scattered storms will be possible in South Texas by late Sunday afternoon and evening. Cool and wet weather pattern The front will continue to push south early next week, increasing our rain chances and lowering our temperatures in San Antonio.
