The aircraft crashed shortly after take-off from the nearby city of Canela, striking the building and then a house before falling onto a furniture store, the Rio Grande do Sul state security secretariat said in a statement.CCTV images from a nearby car park have been posted online showing the moment the plane turned into a fireball after crashing into the building.
At least 17 people were injured on the ground, two of them seriously, while several others were treated for smoke inhalation. At least two children can be seen in the video as the group make their way across the runway to their plane and walk past a number of others small aircrafts parked on the tarmac nearby.Local media reported that the plane was piloted by Mr Galeazzi, a Brazilian businessman who was travelling with his family to Sao Paulo State.
