Police were able to take the suspect into custody without incident.
SAN ANTONIO — A fight between some neighbors got physical and ended with a standoff between one of the neighbors and police after he pulled out a gun and threatened people, police say.responded to the Connally Apartments located on the 5300 block of NW Loop 410 at Rolling Dale Drive around 9 p.m. Saturday for reports of a disturbance.
Police arrived and tried to make contact with the suspect, but he refused to come out of his apartment. Officers tried to get him to come out but he continued to refuse. Several hours went by after which time police were able to speak with a woman inside the apartment and convince her and the man to exit the apartment.
Police say the two residents who tried breaking up the fight were treated by EMS for injuries they received while breaking up the fight. KENS 5 has brought numerous firsts to South Texas television, including being the first local station with a helicopter, the first with its own Doppler radar and the first to air a local morning news program.
