Asked about the drama on the eve of his first hometown UFC fight, Erceg said on Monday: “Look, I’ve thought about what I said and, while it was completely truthful, I don’t like kicking a man when he’s down.“But I was asked a question, I answered it and I try and make it my business not to lie.“But now, I wish all the best.
Back in May, Erceg almost caused one of the greatest upsets in UFC history – with only an unfortunate fifth round error costing him in his championship bout against reigning division king Alexandre Pantoja. “Little things that are just disrespectful that I thought were odd. He’s a young kid, hopefully he’ll learn from this moment.”
