Filipino-American comedian Rob Schneider has been working on a movie project about the Shroud of Turin and is hoping to start production this year.

According to the Catholic Church, the linen cloth bearing the image of the front and back of a man was used to wrap the body of Jesus after his crucifixion. Schneider then said he'd been working on a movie about the Shroud of Turin for the last five years about the scientific evidence behind the ancient linen.
"What brought me back to Jesus Christ was a confluence of things — children, the pandemic, working on this piece — and I think that's how Jesus works, the constant reminder what your life is and should be," Schneider said, admitting he's found himself in a place of peace.
