The Philippine Amusement and Gaming Corporation recently revealed its new logo in celebration of its 40th year.

However, many Filipinos online were not happy with thePagcor’s old logo, which shows a green hand holding what looks like a light, had been in use for the past four decades and was, in a way, reflective of the institution. The new logo unveiled now has flame licks in blue and red gradients, which, according to Pagcor Chairman and CEO Alejandro Tengco incorporates the element of fire associated with “energy, inspiration, passion, and transformation.
