The Philippine Dragon Boat Federation makes podium finish at

recently concluded Hong Kong International Dragon Boat Races.The two-day event saw a heart-throbbing line-up of competitions in 17 titles in Victoria Harbour at the Tsim Sha Tsui East waterfront.Amidst the fierce competition, the Philippine Dragon Boat Federation bested the tides and clinched a silver medal at the Shangri-La Group International Mixed Grand Championship, followed by a bronze medal at the International Championship.

The races saw over 160 teams of about 4,000 dragon boat athletes from all over the globe, with two teams present at the event to represent the Philippines.Philippine Dragon Boat Federation president Jay Pee Villanueva expressed his gratitude for the unforgettable experience in Hong Kong.'The Hong Kong Race would definitely be one for the books for the Philippines.
