Filming has begun for the final episode of Gavin And Stacey, the BBC has announced. The beloved sitcom, written by actors Ruth Jones and James Corden, will return on Christmas Day this year.
“The final episode of Gavin & Stacey started filming today,” it added. “Truth be told, we’re a little bit excited. Watch #GavinandStacey on #iPlayer this Christmas Day.” Instagram Fans enjoyed some banter with the star on Instagram, as one wrote: "Smithster is back!! Don’t forget to mention the air fryer for Uncle Bryn. “I’ll tell you for why?" Another said: "This is the best picture I’ve ever seen in my life" while a third posted: "Can’t wait to hear Nessa recall her trucking days with Oasis."
