Final Fantasy 16 new game plus teaser reveals endgame content including “Ultima Weapon” FinalFantasy16 SquareEnix FinalFantasyXVI
A Final Fantasy 16 new game plus teaser has now surfaced, giving us a look at even more content that you’ll be able to access as soon as you finish the main story. Aside from introducing new and more powerful enemy types, other post-game features include a max level cap of 100 as well as the ability to craft the legendary “Ultima Weapon.”
Final Fantasy 16 director Hiroshi Takai and combat director Ryota Suzuki have also revealed that the post-game content can be accessed by selecting “Final Fantasy Mode” after you’ve chosen the New Game+ option. However, you apparently won’t be able to switch over to either the Story Focused or Action Focused modes during this playthrough so you’ll need to make sure of your choice beforehand.
Of course, the data from your first run will carry over to your new session so it won’t be as difficult as it would be if you started all over again. Naturally, this means you’ll be able to use the Eikon abilities you’ve gained as well as the skills you’ve already already learned as soon as you jump in. But with that said, it’s still important not to underestimate the enemies you encounter in NG+ since they will noticeably be harder to take down than those in a normal playthrough.
