Jaime Carsi, 40, was found dead on Saturday afternoon at a house in Majorca alongside his wife Mary Somerville, 39.
The holidaymaker who died of carbon monoxide poisoning was found in the arms of his newlywed Scots wife two weeks after they were married, it has been claimed.
An autopsy carried out on Monday has confirmed that Jaime died of carbon monoxide poisoning. He had been travelling on a British passport. She wrote alongside a photo of her with Jaime and Mary: “Jaime Carsi came into my life and took up residence in my heart, so many years ago, in London. His smile and spirit are pure love.
Jaime, originally believed to be from Madrid, is said to have moved to the UK with his parents as a child. He relocated to Edinburgh around six years ago when he got a job as an investment risk analyst at Baillie Gifford, after several years in London.
