That could mean more than £180 million is pumped into the local economy as businesses look set to benefit. Further analysis of Mastercard SpendingPulse data highlighted that hospitality businesses experienced the biggest boost. More than four in 10 said that a ‘one of a kind’ an experience is would be a determining factor in whether to spend, highlighting their ambition to make lifelong memories.
