Finland has been ranked the happiest country in the world for the sixth straight year.

According to the World Happiness Report 2023 by the United Nations, Finland is followed by fellow Nordic countries Denmark and Iceland. The report is based on a survey conducted by global analytics firm Gallup.website, the survey included six factors: their income, health, social support or having someone to depend on, the freedom to make decisions in their own lives, the absence of corruption, and generosity or positive community engagement with charities and the like.

According to experts, there is no deep or shallow happiness. It just depends on the needs of each individual. "The real reason why it differs from one person to the other kasi nandoon ang kanyang exposure and kanyang naranasan sa buhay, ang kanyang values. Maraming bagay 'yan kaya pwede nating sabihin kung bakit mababaw o malalim ang happiness ng isang tao o hindi," said Lilian Gui, a psychologist.
