Crews were called to the blaze just before 11 a.m.
BRENTWOOD — Fire crews in Contra Costa County and with Cal Fire knocked down a three-alarm wildfire that broke out late Friday morning, officials said.
The fire was put out just after 1 p.m., said Captain Chris Toler of Contra Costa County Fire Protection District. There were no reported injuries, and no structures were lost in the blaze. Authorities measured the fire at 22.8 acres, a revision from earlier reports that it was likely to be somewhere between 40 and 50 acres, Toler added. The cause of the blaze was still under investigation, Toler said.On social media, the Contra Costa County Fire Protection District said the fire burned off the 100 block of Albers Court near Deer Valley Road.
