An eyewitness told Glasgow Live: "I was walking down the street and saw two fire engines sitting there, with flashing lights. They were blocking off the road. Scottish Fire and Rescue Service confirmed today that three appliances were sent to the tenement. Firefighters removed a pane of glass from the roof and the area was made safe before they left the scene. There were no reported casualties. A SFRS spokesperson said: "We were alerted at 9.45pm on Monday, October 21 to make safe a dangerous building at Kyle Road, Cumbernauld.
