The flames took hold of a crumbling building in Buile Hill Park
Fire crews rushed to the scene of blaze at a 'dangerous' and disused building in a Salford park on Monday evening . The boarded-up site, in Buile Hill Park, set alight at around 5pm.
Clouds of smoke could be seen from the roof of the disused outbuilding, which was branded 'dangerous' on a sign attached to one of the bricked walls. A special aerial ladder was also used to get water in through the roof of the crumbling site. The cause of the fire has not yet been confirmed. Crews remained at the site as of 9pm on Monday evening after the flames had been dampened.
