A disused community hub in Pollok has gone up in flames days after concerns were raised about flytipping on the site.

Emergency services rushed to the former home of South West Arts and Music Project on Lyoncross Road shortly after 6.30pm on Wednesday following reports of a fire.Read more: Govanhill resident 'humiliated' at 'disgusting' fly-tipping as rats roam the streetsLocals have said that they raised concerns about the site with the council due to the amount of rubbish being dumped nearby. One person reported furniture among the items dumped.
