Shop blaze in Chorley ‘under investigation’ say fire experts
and Horwich were called to the incident at Ryman’s stationery store in the heart of the town centre at around 10:50am.
Firefighters wearing breathing apparatus brought the blaze under control using a hose reel, but remained at the scene for around two hours to assess the damage and look at the possible cause. In a statement later Lancashire Fire and Rescue said: “No injuries were reported and the cause of the fire is under investigation.”
