Nottinghamshire Fire and Rescue have confirmed the cause of a house fire in Highbury Vale following an investigation. The fire service said the fire that took place at a home on Caporn Close, Highbury Vale, Sunday was an accidental electrical blaze.
Five fire crews and an aerial ladder platform attended the blaze at around 4pm. The fire at the property was later contained and three fire engines and the aerial ladder platform remained to dampen down. A fire investigation began and at around 9pm, June 11, fire crews left the scene and handed the incident over to partners at Nottingham City Homes. In an update the fire service has said the cause of the fire was accidental electrical, in the roof space of the house.On June 12, Nottinghamshire Fire and Rescue tweeted: “UPDATE 10:15am | Crews returned to the property this morning to reinspect.
