A Solon man made a scene in the parking lot of his former employer Oct. 17. A patron of the fast-food restaurant told employees inside that the agitated man was waving what appeared to be a gun. He left and police were informed of the incident the following day. The subject had been fired from his job there.

After he was refused free food, an agitated man stood in a restaurant parking lot waving something that appeared to be a gun Oct. 17. A customer reported what he saw to employees of the fast-food restaurant and police were contacted.

The subject, a Solon man, had been fired from working at the restaurant and had come back asking for free food, which he said is a perk employees receive. Officers went to his home and questioned him about the incident. He denied having a gun and said it was his cell phone he was waving in the parking lot.Two vehicles collided, sending one driver to the hospital, shortly before 5:27 p.m. Oct. 20.
