It's unclear if the victim was the driver of the vehicle.
Officials say a driver lost control on the San Pedro Avenue turnaround just before Highway 281 and the vehicle rolled off the road and caught fire.
Police aren’t sure if speed was a factor here but the impact was severe enough for the car to burst into flames. When the fire was put out, crews found a person inside of the vehicle. It’s unclear where the victim was found in the car and police also aren’t sure if the victim was the driver. However, nobody else was found inside or at the scene.Depending on the extent of the victim’s injuries, it may take some time for examiners to figure out an identity.
