LIVE: Firefighters tackle blaze at old bus depot - latest updates
Firefighters are tackling a blaze at a former bus depot. They are currently working at the old Finglands site on Wilmslow Road in Rusholme.
Images from the scene show smoke pouring from a window, with a firefighter scaling a ladder to access the building. There is disruption with one side of the road shut, and bus services are being diverted.Bus firm Stagecoach tweeted: "Diversion to outer destinations via Wilmslow Road, Platt Lane, Yew Tree Road, Wilbraham Road and Wilmslow Road. This is due to a fire at the old Fingland's bus depot.
Finglands' white buses, with beige, orange and brown stripes, used to be a regular sight on Greater Manchester's roads, until the firm was taken over by First in 2014.
