C.J. Snare, the lead vocalist and founding member of hard rock band FireHouse, passed away unexpectedly at the age of 64. The band expressed their sorrow and shock over the loss, highlighting Snare's exceptional vocal talent and his upcoming return to the stage after surgery.
Singer C.J. Snare , the frontman and founding member of the hard rock band FireHouse, died “unexpectedly” on Friday at the age of 64.
“Our heartfelt condolences go out to the entire Snare family, Katherine Little, friends, and all our beloved fans all over the world. “His initial prognosis was grim, but that didn’t stop him,” Little said, adding that Snare had undergone “a life-saving operation” in 2021 “that gave us these last years with him.”
It is with a heavy heart that I write this and it’s extremely difficult to find the right words. CJ left this world on…“I am completely heartbroken and at a complete loss for words. I started my musical journey with you. If it wasn’t for you, I don’t know if I would be where I am today,” Perry Richardson, another FireHouse co-founder and the former bassist for the band, said.
