Joshua Brinkley and Connor Luck set fires over a period of five months and police said the damage was estimated at £1,117,825
Pictures show the devastation left by a string of arson attacks that caused more than £1million worth of damage. Joshua Brinkley, 20, and Connor Luck, 21, started the blazes for their "own amusement", police said.
Det Const Emma Arthur-Devennie said: “These arsons were committed with no consideration given to the devastating impact that they would have on the property owners and farmers. The farmers lost a whole season’s worth of feed and bedding for the animals. Derelict properties, buildings housing farming machinery, haybales and a Vauxhall Corsa car were set alight during the spree. Police launched a probe and Brinkley and Luck were arrested.
