Witnesses said that one man had 'lost part of his hand' in the frightening incident.
Police were called to the incident at 12.30pm on Sunday, November to reports that a firework had detonated inside of a moving car along Brook Hey Drive in Kirkby, Merseyside.
A passer-by walking on the pavement is seen ducking for cover while the car continues on down the road before the video ends. A spokesperson for Merseyside Police has since reported that two men sustained serious injuries to their face and hand and were taken to hospital for treatment It's believed that the firework went off accidentally.
