WSFA 12 First Alert Weather: Here is a quick hour-by-hour look at the First Alert forecast for Monday and beyond.MONTGOMERY, Ala. - The big story this week will be the heat! As the First Alert forecast features a summer-like preview now through the next week. Isolated wet weather can’t be ruled out during the hottest part of any given afternoon, but most towns will stay dry with lots of warm temperatures coming our way.

Out-the-door temperatures are in the 60s this morning with a few clouds around. Expect plenty of sunshine today with afternoon highs climbing into the upper 80s. Winds will be out of the east around 5 to 10 mph becoming calm tonight. Lows overnight will hover in the lower 60s.Watch the latest live and local weather data below, streaming on WSFA Weather Now! More heat expected on Tuesday with plenty of sunshine. Highs will climb to near 90 degrees with southeast winds around 5 mph. A pop-up shower or storm will be possible in the afternoon. Lows will hover in the 60s with light winds and a mostly clear sky. Wednesday and Thursday look like carbon copies of each other. Sun and clouds are expected midweek with highs on either side of 90 degrees. Lows will be mild, in the 60s and 70s with a few clouds around.

Friday and Saturday… The heat continues. Highs will again warm near 90 degrees under a partly to mostly sunny sky. Pop-up to isolated rain and storms will become a bit more numerous to end the week and start the weekend. Lows will again feature lows in the 70s with a stray shower around the area.The summer-like preview will continue into Sunday. As highs will climb into the upper 80s to lower 90s under a mainly to partly sunny sky.
