First Bus has frozen the cost of selected fares, including its Two-Trip, FirstWeek and First4Week tickets, for the last 16 months. However, the company has decided this is no longer feasible.
Glasgow's largest bus operator has announced a number of price rises across several different ticket options.
Adult Two-Trip City/Local tickets will rise from from £5 to £5.20; the Adult FirstWeek City/Local tickets rise from £20.40 to £22.50, and the Adult First4Week City/Local tickets will increase from £61.80 to £70.READ MORE: Rats plague Paisley home in nightmare for couple as 'horrific' vermin take over
